Every character in this fandom has a hatedom somewhere; it's part of having such a big fandom. Sadly, alot of the hate seems aimed at female characters. Personally, Troi was never one of my top 5 in TNG because she was kinda bland, but I certainly never disliked her and I loved her interactions with Crusher and Riker. They should have done more with her.

And I agree about her voice. So sweet and lovely. I wish my therapist was as inviting as her.
