(Actually, there was data released just a little while back that 30-40% of CoD players never touch the multiplayer, purchasing the game purely for the single player campaign and offline co-op and spec ops modes. That amounts to like eight million people playing the game for the campaign. Source. So much agreement on the subject of Megumi. I mean, seriously, she stole the principal's borg and attacked Kasumi with it. On the other hand, I also feel like the staff of the school sticks together because they're all basically the Drill Clan, kinda like how animals form packs and such. In other words, I feel like they couldn't fire Megumi despite her numerous failures because she was obligated to be there. (Although, seriously, if anything, I really wish Tomizawa explained things a little more thoroughly so that we can get an understanding of just what the Drill Clan was trying to do.)

As for Yuri and Kumi, I bought the idea that they didn't fuse because it just wasn't in Kumi's nature. She knew that Yuri didn't want to have anything to do with aliens, so it just wouldn't be right to force her, especially since we've seen what happens when Yuri is forced to grow up/handle aliens back in volume 1. The shipper in me thinks it might've been cute to see them interact as partners in symbiosis, but the writer in me has to disagree with you about how that might've been a more satisfying ending because it would force Kumi to be OOC while potentially traumatizing Yuri (more than she already was) in the process.

I didn't know she has struggled with eating disorders in the past. I, too, have been in and out of eating disorder clinics for the past few years and I, too, have a curvy figure that makes it harder to tell when I'm underweight. I hope that Edlestein has lost weight in a healthy way (I actually am very skinny right now because I'm vegan, but I'm very careful to make sure I get all the nutrients and calories I need and I eat at least 3 full meals a day.)

Please don't kill yourself OP. Do you ever watch any comedy shows? I find those help me often times, they usually aren't story arc heavy and when my mind is not able to handle fictional sadness (which is a lot of the time) I like to immerse myself in some comedy and it can sometimes help. There's nothing wrong with watching something light to take your mind off things.
