There is no resolution to that plot that wouldn't be horribly anticlimactic, they spent seven goddamn go-nowhere episodes on a storyline that only really had two possible outcomes and they went the edgier one. Big whoop. Curious as to how the OP has actually seen the episode in question, though.

It's definitely a Walking Dead secret, but...I'm confused, I didn't think Sophia had been bitten in the show? They were still looking for her, I thought?

Or is the OP basing this off a still from the show and foreknowledge involving the comics?

Didn't have strong feelings for Sophia or Carol's characters (interestingly enough, this opens up a great opportunity for Carol to be more like her comic book counterpart). I also don't like Carl only because I am so tired of his little ass being all that ANYONE cares about. He gets shot, ZOMG DROP EVERYTHING NAO. Sophia goes missing, it's time for everyone to busy themselves with something other than look for her. Bothers me :-/

Man, fuck this show. Seriously, why did they have to call it "The Walking Dead" when it's like barely following the comic?

They could have called it like, "Zombies! (Working Title)" Changed around a few character names, a couple plot points, and just made their own TV show unaffiliated with the comics (I find it hard to believe that the comics fandom was SO MASSIVE that the creators felt they needed it to get the show off the ground. More people like zombies than read comics).

And, for the record, I have no idea why I feel so passionately about this, because I stopped reading the comics forever ago. (they were too depressing for me. It might as well be called "Nothing Good Ever Happens. EVER.") I guess it just bugs me that...I thought the character in The Walking Dead (comic) were pretty strong, and it seems like every change I hear from the TV series comes from previously awesome character in the comics doing something phenomenally stupid.

Anyways, for some reason I care, and yes, I mad. I just wanted to rant about this. I haven't watched the show yet, and I've been curious about it, but the more I hear the more I want to bang my head on the wall.

Eh, until it airs, I'm calling bullshit on this "leak." From the picture it looks like she's supposed to already be a zombie, but the "practically dead already" title makes me think that, even if she was bit, she wouldn't have turned yet. I'm guessing she's going to have snuck into the barn for shelter and gotten trapped in there with the zombies, somewhere they can't get to her.

And yeah, it'd be kinda anticlimactic if she was bitten/turned. I mean, they still could pull it off! But after spending so much time looking for her, several of the characters' reiterations that they're GOING to find her, her mom already starting to give up hope, and Shane's insistence that they should just give her up for dead and move on... Any result besides finding Sophia alive would have do be done really well to be any sort of satisfying.

Saw this spoiler about a few weeks ago...tbh, i was less upset about 'b'awww darryl can't be the hero now' and more upset about the effect of losing sophia on carol. (I'm two episodes behind. if something happened to carol, my logic is faulty and I apologize.) I guess it just makes me hopelessly optimistic, but in this case, I was hoping for a happy ending....
