It's fine that you don't like comics, but you sound like an ass. Still, I will admit, you're right on the names. Batman and Superman sound awfully silly.

Granted, I like the characters but they do indeed have very ridiculous names. I chalk it up to the Golden Age creating so many in so short a time that they just sort of gave up on the creativity.:D

Sometimes I just stop and think about the names, TBH. Like, "why didn't Batman come up with a better name?"

And Doctor Doom is one of those characters whose name is just so ridiculously over the top as to loop back around to somewhat badass. IDK how it works, but it does. XD
Meanwhile, you've gotta love XMFC's explanation for how ridiculous Magneto's name is--a bunch of teenaged/college-aged kids came up with it.
