No? Oh, right, because it's fucking ridiculous. It is just fucking costumes. People wear them because they like the character, typically. And the vast majority of characters are thin.

And those 'bad fat cosplay' examples aren't even bad.

You know what's a really easy thing to do? Quit being an over-judgemental jackass and just avert your eyes if it's really so damaging to your vision.

Uh.
The only 'bad' cosplay i saw there was the one that looked like cotton balls stuck to something? The costume was just kinda....meh. But the others all looked fine to me.

Despite me only recognizing Sailor Moon.

Just because the person cosplaying is heavy and decides to wear a costume where you can see their belly/thighs *gasp!* does not make it *bad*. Kudos to them for knowing their not the 'perfect body type' as dictated by the commercial male gaze and going for it, anyway.

I am, myself, a fat person, so I'm probably biased here, but only the first one of the "bad" examples really looked unpleasant, and that was largely because I was going "oh, geez, I hope they don't have the A/C on high." The second one was meh, but I've seen far worse on far skinnier people. The last one would have been fine if she'd been in a color that worked with her skin tone - not familiar with the series, so I don't know if there was a character with a color that would have flattered her more.

Since according to you I am not able to cosplay, please give me a list of what is "acceptable" for fat people to do and not do. What can we do for fun? I would really love to have this list, as it seems as a fat person there is very little I am allowed to do with my life other then sit inside and be sad.

And guess what, that will only make me fatter.
