Ok...?

I mean, I can understand it if it was a major character/personality change (i.e. someone who talked about how they hated kids and never wanted them suddenly wanting kids)but if it's not? You just don't want kids that much?

But if it fits within the personality of the character, then I don't see the problem. :/

Not OP, but the problem I have with it is that... 90% of the time, the mother becomes just that: a mother and nothing more. Her personality becomes bland and her entire life, interests and personality is geared toward the baby. Nothing else matters. Her job, her friends, her own personality. She doesn't exist outside of the baby.

We complain about character not existing outside their boyfriends. But it's okay for these same characters to not exist outside their baby?
