That's because the pairing is fucked up. Muraki tortured, raped and murdered Hisoka (it wasn't a quick death either, it was a slow, long death that lasted years).

There's nothing wrong with liking fucked up pairings (I have several) but at least admit it.

It's been years since I was into Yami no Matsuei, but...

Didn't Muraki rape Hisoka? And then curse him so he died slowly of an illness no one knew how to cure? And then kidnap him and... torture was involved in there somewhere and this was all on the first disc?

This secret is making my skin crawl in awful ways. Sorry, OP, but... this doesn't sound like a good thing? At all?

If I recall, Hisoka saw him murder someone. So Muraki raped him, cursed him, and then Hisoka died a slow death at home, where he was emotionally abused by his parents, I think?

Technically, if he's the Muraki to your Hisoka - you do know that Hisoka genuinely hates and loathes Muraki, and Muraki is totally indifferent about him? Yeah. By definition he can't be the Muraki to your Hisoka, because if that was true, you'd hate his guts and would never say you "couldn't be happier" with him. Sorry OP, you need a different pairing to compare your relationship to.

That IS pretty fucked up. Besides that, Muraki is more obsessed with Tsuzuki than anything if I remember right. I'd tell you to seek help but you sound like a dumbass who really picked the wrong ship to compare your relationship to. Sorry.

You found your Muraki? Man I hope it's all roleplaying and stuff because we all know what Muraki did to Hisoka.

When I was in the YNM fandom I used to hate Hisoka because Tsuzuki was the main character (and the main interest of the villain,) but fans kept pushing Hisoka into the spotlight. It became so annoying that I decided to write my own multi chaptered fanfic with Tsuziki as the main focus. It became one of the longest and most reviewed fanfics I ever wrote.

Whatever floats your boat, as long as you don't change your mind after the act and waste valuable public court time/taxpayer money.

As a Muraki roleplayer and cosplayer, I...am really mortified by this. There is nothing good about the relationship between Muraki and Hisoka. There isn't even a shred of like between them--Hisoka hates the guy for what he did to him, and what he does to Tsuzuki. Not to mention that Hisoka was never of particular interest to Muraki; he's way too obsessed with Tsuzuki.

So yeah, I hope you have better luck than Hisoka. XD

i enjoy this ship and admit it's fucked up, but i also find it kind of worrying you've found this and are happy? i mean, i'm certainly glad you are happy, but what worry's me is the abusiveness (actually, i'm not sure if "abuse" even really cuts it) of the relationship in canon, which i would never ever want to see translate to real for anyone. :x

Yeah...I tried to look at this from an angle other than literal and still most of his qualities suck. Pretty much we're looking at a cold, manipulative sadist with little regard for human life. Even if these qualities were toned down they would still make a pretty terrible person.
