You'd raise a vampire army made up of messed-up street kids, let them terrorize Seattle for a while, then have them invade some random tiny town in Washington just to kill some random human who didn't actually do anything but was targeted by your mate just for kicks anyway? If Meyer was a better writer I'd enjoy her character more and y'know maybe feel like Bella's life was actually being threatened when Victoria plotted against her. That and I didn't like that in all three movies with her they had a different actress. It's kinda silly I know but I enjoyed the first actress in her role.

I didn't really feel bad for her because James was a douche. They're all douchey, but he wasn't even a charming or witting douche. If I was her, I wouldn't have put all that effort she did and probably would've ran to alert the Volturi anonymously about them. I would know I couldn't take them out on my own, but pit the two against each other and hope for some key casualties from both sides.
