Honestly, I'd be surprised if Imaginaerum even gets a wide release anywhere outside of Europe (especially here in the US) in the first place. Nightwish just isn't popular enough outside of Europe for that sort of thing, and it's probably going to be far too small and niche for most mainstream critics to take notice.

Regardless, now that I've heard the album and absolutely love it to pieces, I am still looking forward to the movie and hope that it's as good.

Totally agree with you. I love the new album to pieces, but I feel kind of sad that the film will most likely end up not being available outside of mainland europe. Hopefully it will be, but they're just not that well known, I think :/
