I didn't mind her "Change" MV, but "Bubble Pop" was ridiculously cheap and tacky looking. Grinding on men while moaning, gasping and sighing like she was in a softcore porno. Pouting her lips and shoving her breasts at the camera while almost falling out of her dress was, quite frankly, embarrassing to watch.

The worst part was that she claimed she wasn't trying to be sexy, but more tomboyish instead. Uh-HUH.

imo a woman being sexy and flaunting her assets doesn't make her tacky/cheap. Putting female sexuality in a box of what is "appropriately sexy" versus "cheap" just sets everyone back.

idk i can see why the above anon sees it as cheap or tacky. to have Hyuna suddenly make an MV where she is grinding against men and moaning 'sexily' seems more like a cry for attention than a legitimate chance to be seen as a sexy and empowered woman.

i'd call someone like koda kumi (though she's j-pop, not k-pop) a sexy and empowered woman because she not only uses her sex appeal as her main shtick (not just a one-trick song), but is also one of the few women in the j-pop industry who is continuously sexy in an industry that generally looks down on women who are 'to sexy' or 'sexualized'.

Except you have Change, Bubble Pop, Mirror, Mirror, Troublemaker, Muzik, etc. etc. where HyunA was always sexy/edgy so I don't see why people say it's from out of nowhere. HyunA's always been sexier/edgier than the average idol.
