I think his formspring has (had) to be read with a fair degree of skepticism. He often trolls people outright, possibly out of being annoyed by all the inane questions and plot spoilers people ask. Tom Sidell also ended up being like this -if less wordy- because of all the insanely exact questions he received trying to figure out secrets of the plot in advance and the mechanics of some characters' magic before we see more in the story.
