(Anonymous) 2011-12-07 06:10 am (UTC)(link)But honestly, this. Also, remember when Angel basically stalked Buffy (in the fourth season, after they had separated) to make sure she was safe? Bella probably would have swooned. Buffy, on the other hand, went to LA and called Angel out on his secretive bullshit. In the end, however, Angel had a genuine reason to believe Buffy was in serious danger, not to mention that they had known each other well at that point, so I guess this makes the whole situation far less creepy. Edward... did not (talking about the Port Angeles incident). He just stalked Bella, who was still basically a stranger to him at this point.
