Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I just think this is silly. Sorry. Personally, I would just ignore her personal opinion about that stuff if you don't agree. Think about it this way: She might like it (hell everyone likes something, either in a guilty pleasure or completely serious manner, that many would find cheesy or just lain bad) but Twilight's angle has not leaked into her own work. Honestly, I'd enjoy the works she produces and if she has opinions about stuff as inoffensive YA books that differ from mine, not care about her personal taste.

I agree with you. Maybe she likes reading those books because she thinks they're fun? There are certainly books I've read and liked while knowing they weren't great literature. (I have a weakness for romance novels)
I wouldn't let her tastes interfere with my enjoyment of her writing.
