I agree inasmuch as I ship canon through and through; I simply hate the random musical sex partners and the inevitable claiming that male character X is soooo much better for the male protagonist than his canon girlfriend because of all the chemistry, which is code for "get the vagina out of here." It annoys me just as much when it happens with canon m/m pairings. I'm going to roll my eyes just as hard over a Kurt/anyone over Klaine.

But apparently I just have a lack of imagination.

You lack something, I'm not sure it's imagination. I'm pretty sure it's just braincells. And thanks for sharing. You know much better than people who ship some pairing because of how you ship a different pairing.
