I used to feel the same way when my whole family went gluten free, and I'm not going to lie, the first year and a half were especially hard and I resented not eating my favorite foods, but after that you not only get used to it, but you also start eating better because you really start paying attention to what you are eating. You also start getting a little more creative when it comes to snacks. :I

There really is a lot of stuff out there that you can still totally eat, it just takes a while to find it (or to realize that it was there the whole time!).

And like tiferet above said, there are more and more gluten-free foods popping up every day.

Also of note, if you ever have to go through the diet, don't feel discouraged if it takes years for you to feel your health improving; depending on how damaged your intestines were it can take from a few weeks to a few months to several years for the intestines to heal and for you to start feeling truly healthy.
