Took my mother 19 years to be diagnosed celiac, and then they tested me and I found out I was celiac too. I know that terrifying feeling of not knowing what's wrong while no doctors are able to help you or will even listen to you. I am so glad you got diagnosed and had that fear lifted, especially since the average time it takes to be diagnosed celiac in the USA is 11 years. These days, it is pretty much possible to eat any meal gluten free (thank you Google).

In all honesty, I find celiac disease a blessing. At first I thought it would limit my diet, but now I eat such a wide variety of food when before I was diagnosed I barely ate anything exciting (just bread, bread, bread, pasta, bread, carbs--everything was the same thing). I've never realized how much wonderful food there is in this world and most of it does not have gluten. Good luck trying new things!
