god, i can't wait for this awful show to end. i don't even watch it anymore, but my hate for it and everything it chooses to be is so profound that the arthurian legends loving part of my heart will only have peace when this show is DEAD. DEAD DEAD DEAD.

But seriously, why did you expect a kid's show to be anything like the legends, which are really fucking nasty tbqh?

The ones I like, even when they contradict themselves, obviously?

Merlin is not the first take on the legends that I find completely dire and devoid of any saving grace. But it is by far the one with the longest run. Books aren't as offensive.

And I like the "fucking nastiness", btw. If I didn't, I wouldn't bother going beyond sanitized versions of Grimm's fairytales.
