The question was: "why was it that the OP was getting unwanted attention because she was American?" I responded with what was the most likely answer. If you have a better reason for why the OP being American is subjecting her to unwanted male attention, kindly say it.

Oh, come on, I doubt it has anything to do with her being American as opposed to her being foreign, as a million other people have said. Or what, all of us non-Americans who get as much shit in some places don't exist?
