First of all, wat.

Second of all, I suppose you can...kind of have a point? There are times when I just go "fuck the police, I'm sitting at this computer and writing!" I like actually getting into things when I do them -- I like being able to appreciate them without being distracted, and sometimes I can just go hide in the corner with the book or the notepad for a few hours before I go back out to socialize decently.
But that's really kind of a stretch. The Difference Between Then And Now is that I actually do the socializing part instead of skipping out on things to spend hours thinking about lol shinigami. I still do fandom, yeah. But I don't let things actually take over my life.
