It's a good thing my brother's not staying with us, because I swear to fucking god, I almost decked him on Christmas Day. He was already being a shithead earlier in the week, and then he "accidentally" forgot to buy anyone presents. And then, naturally, we went to the movies and he started loudly texting halfway through.

My aunt didn't buy anyone a thing and then was pissy because she got one thing, which happened to be the only thing she asked for. I wanted to sock her in the mouth, she was being such a brat, and then she started moaning about the one night stand, pretend-boyfriend she had last year whom she's currently stalking on Facebook. Again. Hooray for family, I guess.

God yes, and I only saw my immediate family! One of whom made loud tacky racial slurs in the crowded restaurant where we had Christmas Eve dinner, and then proceeded to get drunk and therefore tackier. Another decided that willingly singing carols = "ready to go back to God" (I'm a nonreligious believer in a higher power, family is Catholic) and made *more* tacky comments about how my city is apparently anti-Christian because people say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas! And I discovered a family member had been lying and stealing from me. Yay.

But they're already gone, thankfully these people all work so they had to go home early. I am so ready to get back to work+school.

Man, if we have to stay on LJ can we at least switch back to a custom layout? F!S is a load on my computer even on a good day, and this new comment page PLUS all of the images is not making my computer happy. This new layout really doesn't seem to be built for discussion at all.
