Apparently there was a new Borrowers film shown on the BBC today. I didn't see it (I think I recorded it) but Spiller was implied to be attractive.

I'm watching this at the moment! Spiller is played by Robert Sheehan who I did adore as Nathan in Misfits. He's only appeared in one scene so far as I type this and his costume design...isn't that appealing for me, sort of typical 50's motorcycle jock. I might have just attracted to him in Misfits for his curly hair /shallow. ^_^

The 1992 version of Spiller will forever be my favourite, which shows my age but never mind. The new one (2011) was very nice too though, looks wise at least.

Robert Sheehan as Spiller was pretty much the only thing I liked about yesterday's Borrowers. :/

It did improve as it went along but some of the early scenes were so ungodly grating I nearly turned it off. I think Stephen Fry is what convinced me to keep watching...
