I find it annoying that people get second guessed about their stated sexuality, and I find the stereotype "bisexual = attention whore" offensive.

Bisexuals exist. Why read some kind of idiotic agenda into it.

God, this so much. ESPECIALLY the first sentence. Fact is, if they ARE lying, clearly they don't want it to be anyone's business but their own, so that should be respected, too.

eeeeeeeexactly.

So why do you see nothing wrong with the most prominent famous bisexual also being a totally blatant attention whore? Nobody wears a meat dress or a dress made of dead Kermits if she WASN'T desperate for attention of any kind.

Thank you. I'm bisexual and I just hate it when people use their queerness as a marketing gimmick. They shouldn't deny it either, but why is it always so sexualized?
You never see queer people just being a couple in music videos. It's always about wearing fetish attire and slobbering on each other's faces while grabbing some ass.

It just fosters the notion that all women will happily make out with other girls to look sexy for men and grab attention.
And then when you really suspect them of being bi and you try to talk to them and get their number they're all like "haha I'm not really into girls, dyke!"

Ugh, THIS SO HARD.

I'll be the first to say that I am attracted to men primarily (and have an amazing boyfriend), but while I may never have physically been with another woman, I HAVE fallen in love with another woman for a brief period of time. Also been attracted to many women. So in my mind, it doesn't matter what happened with her, it doesn't change the fact that the possibility is THERE for me to fall in love with a woman.

People don't really count bisexuality as an option, they either think I'm a lesbian or completely straight. -_-
