I agree with this. I never got the whole "deserving of love" either. A lot of happy couples I've met on first glance as an outsider didn't seem to be "right", but as I got to know them it was clear that they completed each other. The opposite personalities worked for each of them individually and fulfilled what they needed. Not everyone wants to be with someone who is just like them and prefer to have someone that balances them out. For Kermit, Miss Piggy probably brings to the relationship that aggressive nature that he lacks. She doesn't take shit from no one and is very open about that, where as Kermit seems to keep things more to himself or avoids confrontation. And Kermit mellows her out because he seems pretty chill naturally. It works for them.
