Clarification on secrets.

1. Opinions stated like secrets (e.g. "I think XYZ rules. I'm afraid to tell my friends because they all hate its fandom.") will be posted. But opinions stated like fact (e.g. "LMN sucks!" "OPQ > all! fandom will eat me for some explained reason!") will not. We get that you think so. Okay. But why is that a secret?

2. Random stuff on fandom images ("I love you" with a Final Fantasy background) will not be posted. Secret on fandom image != fandomsecret. Make it clear how it's related to some sort of fandom or something related to a fandom (you met through fandom, et cetera) unless the image does so.

3. Personal attacks. Secrets without names blurred (or something along those lines) that bash a specific person. Flame a fic, fanart, character, or fandom all you like, but when it gets to specific people, they won't be posted at all.

Goes into effect as of now.

End public service announcement. (:

So what kind of secrets do you not post at all?

I posted one that didn't get posted at all. There was nothing wrong with it. It wasn't even posted in the wha? portion.

(Had to use another journal to stay more or less annonymous.)

It was related to A Goofy Movie and its sequel An Extremely Goofy Movie and the character PJ from both movies. It had 4 pictures on it-2 from each movie.

It was sometime between June 16th and June 17th.

This noob has either reading comprehension or social skills fail: even though the two secrets i posted were definitely, explicitly secrets (like my fandom world would totally blow up if they knew), I don't think i stated them that way sufficiently. :\

Reword, resubmit and state they are repeats y/n?

If I wanted to post a secret about how an actor changed my thoughts on something IRL, is it necessary to specify which actor for it to be considered "fandom"?

I'm really not sure about #3? How about a secret that states 'I hate this movie and I hate [insert specific name of director here]'? Is that considered a personal attack and won't be posted?

Thanks for your help.

Great, thank you!

I'm new to submitting secrets. But I'd really appreciate it, if this got in.

Is there anything that can be done about "secrets" that are just "I don't like X fandom thing" with no reasoning? It's annoying to read bashing that just seems to be there for bashing something. A lot times it seems either for trolling or it doesn't have a clear purpose. I'm fine with complaints that are secret because the poster lies to their friends about show X or thinks they ought to like movie Y but when people just want to post that they hate something for no reason then I don't think it qualifies as a secret.
