Kaldur seems like such a sweetheart, him being left out of the YJ romance scene (both in canon and in fandom) breaks my heart.

...But I'd take Artemis out of the picture, and put Kaldur and Wally together. KF would pull Aqualad out of his shell a little, and in turn might get mellowed out juuuust a little by Kal. Never mind that there's almost no reasoning behind Flashfishing; reason is highly overrated. XP

It might help if the two of them actually, y'know, interacted in the show besides being in the same scenes. The whole 'Mask of Fate' thing could've been a great setup for a moment, but noooooo...

I'm not sure what they're doing with Kaldur, to be honest. I keep hearing he's getting kicked off the show. What the actual fuck.

Yeah. He's not showing up for the list of characters for season two and the rest are.

I will rage so hard if they do that. There's so much potential to the character; hell, DC liked the Kaldur so much, they brought him into the comics!

Plus, it's clear Robin still isn't ready to take on the leadership role; Dick himself knows this. Who steps up if Aqualad is gone? No one.

Exactly. I'll stop watching and reject YJ so hard. It's just so stupid they would get rid of him. It makes no sense and it's a bit racist, to be honest. Just sayin.

well they didn't technically just create him, since he is also a character in the comics (the circumstances are different though). but I'll be really disappointed if they don't delve into his relationship to Black Manta before they...kill him off or whatever. Maybe Black Manta kills him (didn't Greg say that there would be character deaths or something?)

Actually, the new cartoon version of Aqualad was created BEFORE Jackson Hyde's introduction in Brightest Day.

DC liked the cartoon's character so much, they chose to bring him into the comics (much like Harley Quinn went from B:TAS into the comics). Brightest Day just happened to be released before Young Justice premiered.
