But actually, considering how many people use "Mary Sue" to mean "female character I don't like," yes, many Lelouch-haters would call him a Sue if he was a woman.

(Anonymous) 2012-01-08 04:08 am (UTC)(link)Which basically explains a lot of the (bad) fanfic for the show. I don't think Lelouch is a Gary Stu in canon, but there is a whole lot of fic around intent on erasing all the flaws so he becomes one.
