Maybe I should try American dad again then. I watched one ep that was hilarious and one that just didn't do it for me, and I figured "Well, I hate Family Guy so maybe I just hate all his shows."

In general, the less McFarlane has to do with a show the better it is, and I'm pretty sure he's the least involved with American Dad.
