I don't care if you told them that their work was a pile of old smelly crap and their mom smells weird. I always find it really odd that fandom can waste so much time and energy hounding someone who slighted them. I get it if it was someone you trusted and it's some jaded online lover friendship madness. But when it's random strangers or even the annoying corner contributor you don't like, I always find the months and years later dogpiling just really and entirely pathetic.

Well, unless they admit to being trolls, I guess. I can appreciate even cruel honesty, but most I've seen seem to ride their moral horse right off into the sunset on this kind of crud.
