I don't know much about it. When my brother watched it, he told me that all the minorities died in basically the first few minutes of the movie. So I decided against seeing it.

I can't say that's the problem, but I googled it and apparently a lot people just didn't get the point of the movie. So maybe you could start with google and figure out why people didn't like it if you're that curious.

Wow, I need to watch the beginning again because my biggest complaint was that there wasn't a single minority to be had. But apparently there was! Though they die, of course :X

There's always a minority somewhere in a movie. They are either in the background or they're killed off. Or both.

You notice these things when you're trying to relate to a character and they happen to die. Much like Mace Windu from Star Wars. I don't give a fuck about what people say, he totally could have lived. Just sayin.

I'm probably remembering wrong, but didn't most of the Jedi end up dying?

LOL, you're right. Most of them died. But a lot of them escaped. I just thought his death was rather...unnecessary.
