Awkward first comment BUT- just sat through an extremely triggering and long conversation with a friend. Relieved to see this is up, as F!S is always a destressing mechanism for me, but moreso than ever at the current moment. Thanks for the daily updates! For some reason I tend to feel much more centered after getting a sneak peak into the lives of strangers. ;)

Random question for anyone who cares:

Is there any sort of "Best of" compilation for songs from the original Japanese Sailor Moon series online? There are so many collections of music from the show online but they seem to be grouped by season and I really don't want to have to sift through them to find individual favorite songs from across the seasons. I just want maybe the starting and ending songs, and some of the songs used really effectively within the series, like "Ai No Senshi".

Also, I may as well add a secret while I'm here: I'm watching Saior Moon R for the first time (this is the very last season I haven't seen yet), and I find Chibi-Usa not only not annoying, but actually kind of adorable. I think my frustrated maternal instincts have something to do with it though.

Have you tried sailormusic.net?
There's only a "best of" compilation for Sailor Stars season, but the albums are easy to go through if you're looking for particular songs. You can also download individual songs OR albums, whichever you prefer.

Chibi Usa for me was really only more annoying in the DiC dub. The original Japanese, she was easier to deal with and for the most part I like her.

And yes there are tons of best ofs for Sailor Moon. I take it just the anime, and not the live action musicals, yes?

99% trolls are gone or retired and most of the depressed people who submitted "this [x] got me through depression/is the reason I haven't killed myself/etc" -secrets have killed themselves by now.
Oh and probably tumblr - explains where all the SJWs have gone.

It was partially already getting slow, and the recent LJ comment page changes have caused some people to be unable to use the site for various reasons. And some of the people that can use the site are just pissed off at LJ. Lots of people have jumped ship to DW.

It's just one or two people doing them; people give them pity comments because they can't decide if they're a bad troll/trolls or just painfully oblivious that no-one actually cares about Geass anymore, hence the pity. This however, seems to encourage more secrets from the same person/two people. Unfortunate, I know.

I was just thinking this the other day. :( Only 20 or so pictures in a post at a time, very few commenters... Bless technophile and his hard work, but I think this might be F!S' swansong.

Then again, it might be because people are just getting back into the swing of work/school, and don't have much time for fandom right now.

ok, this might seem random, but am i the only one who bookmarks the threads of really great secrets and goes back to them occasionally? idk, some are so deliciously wanky, and others are just really touching and inspiring to read. but there were periods where i didn't read f!s for weeks at a time so i feel like i might have missed a lot of great ones. i want to share threads with other f!sers and get new ones too :(

Today, I pronounced 'manga' in the Japanese way. As expected, people didn't understand what I was saying. I knew that would happen, and usually I would've said it the common way, but there was a Japanese exchange student in my class and I didn't want to pronounce it wrong in front of her. So yeah, I totally understand where that secret (that talked about how they intentionally pronounce words wrong) is coming from. /cool story bro
