These are also reasons why I like femmeslash and yuri. There's also a lot less cliche' garbage storylines and stupid characters. A lot of shoujo manga that isn't f/f suffers from this too with the guy characters being cut and paste assholes.

It's nice to see it gets other people besides me mad in different forms of media where being bisexual or a lesbian is "just a phase."

I don't really agree on a lack of cliche, garbage plotlines and stupid characters. The yuri I've read has been really, really thoroughly rehashed and it has its own problem points.

Well I didn't say there was no such thing in the yuri genre. I've just seen in comparison to yaoi there doesn't seem to be nearly as much (at least I don't think so).
