It's all right to like villains without trying to justify their villainy. B|

Though I think she's a pretty weak villain. She's like a child throwing a tantrum rather than a villain of any real substance and it's ruining her for me just as much as the obnoxious fans who try and woobie her up and make her sympathetic despite all she's done.

I agree with your last bit. I don't think any secret could justify all the shit she's done. I know that it's suppose to be the whole fairy tale lesson of revenge turning you into a horrible person, but it truly just makes her come off as a petty child. :/

Haha, oh wow, that is so accurate! I am sad I didn't think of that comparison. I've been just sort of rolling my eyes at her, all, "Dude, you're supposed to be The Evil Queen™, do something truly evil!"

I kind of felt like Graham's death (as much as I was sad they killed a potentially interesting good bad-guy) was the first thing she really did that was evil in Storybrooke, even if she did it because of a temper tantrum.

Oh thank god I'm not alone. I've been surrounded by people going "Look how awesome she is!" and I truely just cannot see it. She's all "WAAAAH I DON'T LIKE EMMA, BUT SHE WON'T GET OUT OF MY SANDBOX!! WAAAAAAH" Not to mention, she does a lot of illegal shit she never gets called on. Like, breaking federal laws, illegal. :/ Unimpressed, writers.

well, that's kind of justified, considering she runs the place. Like, she never gets called on it because what could anybody REALLY do?

That and I like to think it's on LOST island time. Things do happen but like Henry said, bad things happen if they leave. So, coupled with that and the fact no one can remember meeting anyone and I assume their pasts are hazy, the world moves at a different sense of time. They assume Regina will always 'rule' them and nothing will change it.

That's how I think she gets away with all of this stuff, since they're in a place apart of reality, like in LOST.

She's not a super villain, but since she's very selfish, she uses her power in an immature way, hence axing the Sheriff because he wouldn't listen to her anymore.

I find it weird that people are justifying her action? How are they doing that?

Yeah; the time is seen to be pretty hazy (hence how they can be in the town for 28 years and not think "huh, that's odd that no one ages."), and bad things happen if they leave. Emma MIGHT be able to leave (since she's not from Storybrooke), but I think that she might be brought into the curse now, possibly. At this point, Regina's rule>any laws and the people basically can accept it.

I really don't get the justification myself. I like Regina/EQ a lot, and I do ship her with Emma, but it's mostly in a context of Regina realizing how messed up she really is, not justifying it at all.
