Sad but true. But I've become jaded after seeing some pretty meh things put on a pedestal simply because of yaoi.

I've never given this series a shot, methinks I'll be changing that. I'm not all that interested in the romantic side of characters so much, but women kicking ass? I'LL BE TAKING THAT~

It's actually a really great plot-driven show, from what I remember (it's been almost a decade since I've watched it). Female secret agents, assassins, secret identities, international crime families...the romantic connections I'd say are secondary, especially in the first half of the series. I'd definitely recommend it.
