Lol at the people jumping to conclusions in this thread. I'd be willing to bet it isn't the design that the OP has problems with, but the fact that Lola is now an obsessive creepy stalker with no personality outside her love for Bugs.

Not a huge difference from Space Jam where she existed solely to become Bug's love interest (and got together after being saved by him, of course).

Probably, but with that new design you can't blame people for recoiling in nostalgic horror, as most commenters haven't watched the new series.

OP here. Yeah, that was pretty much it. :( I couldn't care less that she looks like she got a makeover from John Kricfalusi, but they totally turned her into a stupid stalker ditz... It's pretty damn clear you can make a funny female character without resorting to harmful stereotypes like that, the 90s WB cartoons proved that. But I guess they aren't using the same writers as those now (in fact, I hope not, considering). I think the only show that seems to know how to write good comedic female characters nowadays is My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (and I know that sounds like a gratuitous mention, but it's true).
