I love Martin Freeman, but I would never use "thin" to describe him

I'm a little confused, he looks thin to me...

IDK if I'd call him 'thin'. He's pretty average in build. Certainly not fat, but not someone I'd describe as 'thin' either.

Spoilers for The Great Game, just in case.

He wears a lot of jumpers and cardigans that make him look rather like a cream puff, but he's really quite thin. Try The Great Game, at the pool, after Sherlock's ripped that coat off of him and he sort of stumbles against the cabin — you can see it quite clearly then.
