Hey, remember when Disney didn't JUST do fairy tales? Like Lady and the Tramp or Bambi or Dumbo or 101 Dalmatians or Aristocats or The Lion King or The Great Mouse Detective or Oliver & Company or The Fox and the Hound? Sure, not all of them were hits (at the time they came out or not), but Disney wasn't always synonymous with FAIRY TALES. I guess they really got their asses chapped by things like Treasure Planet and Atlantis, eh? A pity.

Which is a shame because a lot of those movies are such great ones. I remember Aristocats, The Lion King, and The Fox and the Hound were some of my favorites. Still are.

Actually most of those were still based on books.

If you haven't watched Treasure Planet, give it a go. It's really quite good, and really nails the Jim-Silver relationship.
