..I just..Can't see guys giggling about their ships and fighting about it. Idk it probably happens but it's a rarity.

Naaaaaaaawwww. A large number, if not the majority, of the fans heavily invested in CloRis v CloTi and Rei v Asuka were dudes. You can still see echoes of it in threads about who gets to date Shepard.
