Tbh, I can kind of see how it makes sense that Rapunzel became Tangled. The narrator (and kind of the protagonist, since most of the story was about his own morality and character development) is a dude. At the very least Rapunzel and Flynn/Eugene are sharing protagonist duties, and both of their contributing efforts shouldn't be reduced down to just Rapunzel. I guess it just makes more sense, in a story-telling kind of way. "Tangled" isn't the best title, but it's less unilateral than "Rapunzel".

I mean, obviously there are still some societal gender issues, like why Flynn/Eugene is the narrator in the first place and w/e. I'm not trying to rationalize male-leaning media or anything. But, idk, idk.

I would think a character other than Rapunzel being the narrator would be obvious: because she's spent most of her life being isolated and thus lacks the awareness outside the self to be the narrator.
