Doesn't Kallen 'pass' as it were.

I'm only through season one, but none of the other classmates ever bring it up to my knowledge, and you have the dramatic reaction to Suzaku, so surely she's intended to look white right?

Kallen is half Japanese, half Britannian.

Right, but none of the other characters ever make reference to this, so the assumption I drew was that she looked white enough that her mixed race heritage wasn't obvious.

Like I have a friend who's mother is black, but everyone just assumes he's a tanned white guy. Thought it was that sort of situation.
