tbqh, I don't at ALL mind using these kinds of tactics to lure boys into watching "girly" stuff that they'd actually like if they gave it a chance. Why is it such a big deal? If a bunch of silly, immature, insecure boys are so closed-minded and fragile that they need that kind of coddling, I'm more than happy to indulge them as long as no one's sacrificing content, because getting exposed to a wider range of ideas might make them less silly, immature, and insecure later on. Honestly, I only care about the ends, not the means.
