No. I can understand staying where she is if she honestly can't afford to leave him. Especially if her family are the kind of people who don't allow a kid to come back home when something like this happens. And with how shitty the economy is? Yeah. So you'd much rather she live on the street, where it can be more dangerous, than deal with a douche making fun of her hobby?
I certainly hope nothing like this happens to you. But then again, if it does, I'll be sure to make snide jokes at you and call you just as much of an ass as well. And dismiss YOUR problems.
