Any problems now will only get worse after you are married. If you're already starting to think he's not the one, he's not the one. Don't silence your smart internal voice with concerns like "oh it's so minor." Those minor things (like calling your comics interest "retarded" and insinuating it's a mental illness) aren't just about the comics - it's about how he doesn't respect you, about how he views your autonomy and interests, how he sees you and your ability to make your own choices. That's one of the most enormous issues in a marriage. The fact that it manifests as something minor is just the very tip of the iceberg.

Be glad you realized it now before your wedding. Do not be pressured into moving forward with it. I wish you the absolute best of luck on your job search, and I'm glad to see some good advice in this thread for finding affordable living arrangements (which are a hell of a lot more useful than judgmental comments).
