There are a lot of naive people here who are advocating that you get out NOW. I'm not going to go into your relationship, it sounds like you already made your decision and you're the best one to judge.

But speaking from someone who has been in your position -- knowing that you need to break up, but not sure how to survive by myself -- my advice to you is to make an exit plan now. Create a new savings account by yourself and start funneling money into it. This will be your deposit money/emergency cash for when you move out. Examine the terms of your lease with your partner. Figure out if you can break it, or how much notice you need to give before leaving.

As of tomorrow, you officially have a full time job. That job is finding a new job. If you work six hours a day, spend at least 2 hours looking for a new one. Do something every day that will further your exit plan. Then, when it's time, break the news to your partner. Good luck.
