I love his music and will always remember him as a legend.

I don't think he was a pedophile, mainly because I was sexually abused as a child by multiple people, and I think I know a pedophile when I see one. I'm not saying he can't be a pedophile, but... I just can't see it. No offense to anyone who thinks he should have gotten a guilty verdict.
I do believe, however, that he was insane in the head and he didn't know how to act around children like a grown man should. I think he had the mentality of a child.

This +10. I am more then willing to bet he did something inappropriate with those kids... but in the sense of a giggly child doing some silly shit except he's not a child which makes a rueful head shaking moment disturbing instead. I'll be the jesus juice stuff actually happened, for example. But I doubt he ever molested those kids.

I'm less up in the air about if he was gay or not, but frankly I don't think he was capable of a normal relationship at that time with any gender, rendering the question semi-moot.

I think growing up the way he did wasn't conducive to becoming a particularly well-adjusted adult.
