So when I first watched the movie, I was dating a Baptist Christian. Watched it with him and his father and they took it surprisingly well. I LOVED it. About 13 years later, and not only do I still love it, but some of the ideas it presented are now my core philosophies on religion/spirituality. I am also agnostic - yes, I believe there's SOMETHING out there, but I don't believe in a specific god, and I dislike organized religion because it's too restrictive and demanding. Not for me. If I'm going to 'practice' any faith, I would like to practice it on my own terms, thank you very much. =)
