I'm sorry... but I really cannot see how she's better than Lea Michele. Heck, even without the comparison, I'm struggling to see Taylor Swift belt out "On My Own" (though I've probably been spoilt with Lea Salonga's version) because I find her voice kinda... flat. I do enjoy her songs but I never saw her voice as anything noteworthy, I only give her credit for being able to write her feelings out in a way that's simple and relateable.

Seriously, can you give me more points as to how she would do it better? Cause I really cannot see it.

You haven't been spoiled. On My Own is meant to be a strong song vocally. I'm not actually familiar with Taylor's voice, so I can't make much of a comparison, but Lea would definitely be able to do the song justice. Regardless of what I think of her as an actor or of Glee in particular, girl can sing.

Same here. I'm a fan of her songs too, but vocally they're not anything impressive (well, as expected of pop music I guess). Maybe I'm being a bit biased here, but I think professionally trained Broadway stars might be a better fit for a musical movie than other celebrities who are trained in singing or acting, but not necessarily both.

Taylor won't be able to belt it out. We'll get a flat, immature version of the song.
It upsets me greatly.
