Yeah, I'm pretty sure just about nobody takes those people seriously. Most of the time when secrets like that comes up the thread is full of some agreement but mostly "lol pearl clutching cry moar."
Don't worry so much. Just go enjoy your rape fic. Rape fantasy is really, really common, and it doesn't hurt anybody. The dynamics of rape fantasy are actually diametrically opposed to real rape - it's all about the comfort and desires of - and control by - the "victim," rather than by an attacker.

Actually, that's not entirely true. A lot of people are into that kind of rape fantasy/play, but some people like it to be more realistic. Of course, if everyone involved is being a decent person and it's consensual, the fantasy "victim" still has the right to say no - but some people like to play the scene like they don't. Each kind of fantasy is equally okay, of course. :)

In that case though, it's still the comfort and desires of the 'victim' that are the main thing - because it's their desires and their comfortableness with the situations that determines how the situation goes.
