I'm disagreeing with you about HBC. She didn't 'ruin' Sweeney Todd. She auditioned for Stephen Sondheim and he gave Tim Burton the okay to cast her. My friends and myself thought she was wonderful in that role. I'm looking forwartd to seeing her in Les Mis.

I don't care one way or another about Swift. I've heard worse Eponines.

Yes, this. I think the real issue was that she had been seen so much around the time Sweeney came out that people were sick of her. Personally, I adore her both in real life and in pretty much all the roles she has been in. And I think she did a decent job in Sweeney.
