I'm gonna read it before judging it. But the premise itself reminds me of something that I really didn't like about Twilight: If it doesn't have anything in common with the monster, don't call it a vampire/zombie. But again, not judging till I read it.

Nah, trust me, there's tons of other zombies running around in various stages of decay in the book. R just notes that he's a bit fresher than most so he's not rotting.
