It's different, so it's not surprising that you don't like it. If you grew up eating nothing but ice cream, the day someone slipped you a chili pepper, you wouldn't know how to respond.
I love superhero books. They're colorful, dynamic, and over the top. It's great. Yes, there are a few bad artists, but that's to be expected.
Personally, I don't like manga. I hate the art style. And yes--I know that "all manga is not the same". It doesn't matter. I haven't found a single style that I do like. All of the characters look distorted, and the eyes look lifeless and--dare I say it--emotionless.
